Paris is an expensive city and reasonably priced hotels in good locations are hard to come.But the Astoria has both these things. location is really good - 5 mins walk from two Metro stations, with lots of convenience stores, bars and cafes located in distance. Tall Receptionist lady was not friendly enough and seems to be disturbed. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast was included and had a decent choice. nice touch was the free mini bar in the room and free selection of biscuits. Breakfast was excelent with guy server which i forgot the name. Overall its worth coming back.

We really enjoyed our stay in Paris, and our time at this hotel. The hotel is in an older building with slightly quirky decor, and is well located in a quiet street near several Metro stations. Unlike most of the hotels we have stayed in we were able to fully open our windows, which was great. Our children really enjoyed the included soft drinks and snack selection in the evenings. The breakfast had everything we needed and the staff in the breakfast room were friendly and efficient. The reception staff were accommodating, letting us check in early and storing our bags after check-out. The lovely cleaning staff kept our room spotless and were friendly and cheerful. One evening we got takeaway pizza from the tiny place a few doors down (highly recommend!) and another lovely member of staff kindly gave us a large bottle of water to accompany it and disposed of the boxes for us. It’s these personal touches which set the hotel apart from some much larger ones we have stayed in. The only thing we didn’t really like were the pillows. They were a bit uncomfortable. Other than that we would recommend this hotel certainly!

It was an amazing stay. PAL did a great job with the breakfast, cooked really tasty meal. The potatoes he cooked was extremely delicious. The hotel is close and to metro station Rome , so it connects to all the attractions easily. The hotel was very clean and maintained well
